West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice has appointed Stephen “David” Green to the House of Delegates 36th district, which serves McDowell County, he announced Monday.

Green is a Concord University graduate and independent insurance agent. His agency operates three brick-and-mortar locations with ten employees, the governor’s office said in a news release.

Green replaces Anita Hall, who recently resigned. Green will serve the remainder of Hall’s unexpired term.
