Nikki Haley Withdrew from her long-standing opposition run against former President Donald Trump in the primary’s following a devastating loss Super Tuesday. Her only victory was in Vermont, joining the District of Colombia in her corner.

She was bolstered in Vermont by anti-trump democrats who were permitted to vote across party lines.

She concluded her campaign at an event in her native Charleston, South Carolina at 10pm on Wednesday, March 6th.

Nikki Haley is the daughter of two Indian immigrants. She joins Vivek Ramaswamy and Tulsi Gabbard among the increasing amount of Indian representation in the GOP. The United States Government currently has Vice President Kamala Harris as representation.

Specialists belive that Trump will not select Haley as his Vice Presidential Candidate, but rather someone like Vivek Ramaswamy or Tulsi Gabbard. He is unlikely to select Haley due to their personal differences and foreign policy differences. Speculation is that he will choose a younger VP capable of carrying the torch of his new wing of the conservatives movement in future elections.
