WYZE, a local independent booking & promo company will have their first show at The Loud on Friday, September 22. This show will feature cool and colorful indie rock bands Turbo Nut, The Wearing Hands, and Trevor’s Lightning Project. Fans of the local Loopy Fest psych rock festival will be pleased by the return of Liquified Lightshow, “a Lexington based analog liquid light collective” that will add some majorly trippy vibes to the party.
Trevor’s Lightning Project will be getting the night started. “These dudes are arriving from the vibrant Psych scene of Lexington, KY. Kicking music out to the tune of Post-Contemporary Art Rock, be ready to get weird.”
The Wearing Hands “are a groooove! The four piece from Beckley, WV create a sound that captures many different genres. Doo wop punk, romance wave, mixed with some surf is a good starting point. Their sound is constantly evolving, elevating, and is an aesthetic of its own.”
Turbo Nut comes to The Loud from the home of the slugger, Louisville, KY. “After a blistering set to kick off EXPANSION (psych fest) In Lexington, KY last month, these nuts are ready to do the same here in Huntington. They bring the ENERGY so be ready!!!”
