This last Friday 2-10-23, St. Peter’s Episcopal Community Outreach (SPECO) hosted an art exhibition “With Open Arms” and silent auction. The event took place at 545 4th Ave Huntington WV (RWDSU Union Hall) from 6-9pm. The event was sponsored with Local 21 RWDSU (Retail Wholesale & Department Store Union) and HAWC (Huntington Addiction Wellness Center) which works with SPECO for outreach programs.
More than 50 visitors got to take part in the auction and action, with vendors and local artists.
Over 30 works of art were up for bidding, and all sold.
Many other sponsors and donors made up the heart of hearts displayed proudly.
Jayce Turley (Musician, Greenup KY) brought in an acoustic one man set, playing to the crowd and setting the mood with some bluegrass roots.
Justin Murphy (Out of the Attic Photography) set up a photo booth and optioned for a fun retro polaroid.
Benefitting is their outreach programs providing support and aid to the unhoused and others in need. SPECO works to give those in need meals, essential care packages, and community outreach.
