Randall Robert Cline II, 55, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio.

Born on June 22, 1969, in Parkersburg, Randall was the son of Randall Robert Cline I and Theresa (McDonald) Ruble. He was a 1988 graduate of Parkersburg High School and went on to earn an Associate in Science in Land Surveying from Glenville State College in 1999. Randall built a remarkable 33-year career as a Professional Land Surveyor, licensed in both Ohio and West Virginia.

Randall lived a life filled with faith, love, and kindness. He had a deep passion for the outdoors, cherished time with his family, and found joy and strength in studying the Bible. His life was a testament to the teachings of Christ — sharing joy, compassion, and a helping hand with everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gladys Stanley and Charles McDonald; paternal grandparents, Edna and Raymond Cline; uncles, Donald Stanley and Raymond Cline; brother, Terry Sink; stepmother, Diana Cline; and granddaughter, Roxana Gomez.

Randall leaves behind his beloved wife of 15 years, Tasha Cline; his children, Randall (Hannah) Cline III, Johnathan (Rebecca) Cline, Holly Cline, Chase Knutsen, and Caitlin Cline; his parents, Randall Cline I and Theresa McDonald Ruble; his brothers, Todd (Casey) Cline and Matt Smith; his sisters, Alicia Miller, Stephanie (Heath) Walker, Laura Kloh, Lori (Kevin) Purdue, and Angel Ruble. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren — Carter, Cam, Diego, Silas, Juanita, Diana, Lilana, Miguel, and Joanna — along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, including Chuck and Martha Gump.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Randall’s honor from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 17, 2025, at Summit Valley United Methodist Church on Route 14 in Vienna, West Virginia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory in New Martinsville, WV.

Randall’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the faith he practiced, and the countless lives he touched.
