The Ohio Valley Jeep Club (OVJC) and the West Virginia Interstate Fairgrounds are gearing up for Jeep Jam 2025, happening this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds on Butcher Bend Road near Mineral Wells. This is shaping up to be the biggest Jeep event in the Mid-Ohio Valley, promising a day full of fun, food, and plenty of Jeep action.
Missy Plumly, OVJC’s Events Director, says Jeep Jam will offer something for everyone—whether you’re a Jeep enthusiast or just there to watch. Food trucks and vendors like Brain Freeze, Sunset Slush, Triple B Eatery, Leslie’s Grub Shack, and Sherry Gibboney with her famous pepperoni rolls will satisfy every craving.
Beyond tasty treats, over 25 vendor booths will be open, featuring everything from Jeep accessories to handmade crafts like crocheted ducks. Some vendors have even traveled all the way from Missouri, bringing rare Jeep collectibles like die-cast models never seen locally.
The gates open at 10 a.m., and the first 50 Jeeps to arrive will get special gift bags thanks to South Parkersburg AutoZone. The first 100 Jeeps joining the Sparkle ‘n Shine show will receive a free commemorative dash plaque.
Best of all, there’s no extra cost to join the Jeep show, which offers trophies for first, second, and third place, plus a special kids’ choice award. Kids attending the event get to vote for their favorite Jeep using special rubber ducks!
At 11 a.m., the Sparkle ‘n Shine show kicks off alongside the Jeep Playground, Ramp Travel Index (RTI) ramp, and Jeep balance boards. Whether you prefer keeping your Jeep clean or getting muddy, there’s plenty to do.
You can show off your ride or tackle challenges like rock climbing and mud runs on a closed course designed just for Jeeps. The “big pit,” “little big pit,” and speed pit—all famous at local mud bogs—will be open for drivers to test their skills.
There’s also a Jeep recovery and winch-use lesson around noon, where drivers learn to pull themselves out if they get stuck.
Families won’t be left out—OVJC Ambassador Ronda Bragg says there’s a special Junior Jeeper zone with free games, a large bounce house, a small obstacle course, and an area for kids to bring their Power Wheel Jeeps.
The first 100 kids get their own rubber duck for “Let’s Go Ducking,” where they place their duck on their favorite Jeep in the show. The Jeep with the most ducks wins the Kid’s Choice award. Face painting and slushy vendors will also be available for a small fee.
Entry to Jeep Jam is $20 per vehicle, and each vehicle gets a ticket to win a 13,000-pound Rough Country Winch, with the drawing at 3 p.m. Plus, there will be several door prizes throughout the day. Visitors should bring cash for raffle tickets, as no ATM will be on site.
OVJC President Brad Hackney says this event is expected to be the club’s biggest fundraiser this year. Half of the gate fees will support the West Virginia Interstate Fairgrounds, and the rest of the funds—including vendor fees and raffle money—will go toward community donations and activities throughout the year.
With over 6,700 members, the Ohio Valley Jeep Club is one of the largest Jeep clubs in West Virginia and Ohio. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, OVJC focuses on giving back by supporting local food banks, homeless assistance, veterans’ groups, and youth programs.
“We’re always looking for ways to help our community,” Plumly said. “Last year, we provided Christmas gifts to teens in foster care, supported food banks, donated to Toys for Tots, and helped local humane societies. Jeep Jam isn’t just about having a great time—it helps us keep giving back all year long.”
Get ready to join the fun, see some amazing Jeeps, and support a great cause this Saturday at Jeep Jam 2025!
