RALEIGH, N.C. – The Marshall Women’s Golf team is set to compete in the City of Oaks Collegiate, hosted by N.C. State at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Marshall is one of 17 teams participating in the event, which includes five Sun Belt Conference teams.
“We are excited to head to Raleigh for this week’s tournament,” said Marshall Women’s Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer. “After a brief break, this marks the beginning of an important stretch for us as we work to finish the spring season strong.”
Leading the Herd in the tournament is Emily McLatchey, who will be joined by Olivia Kochan, Savannah Hawkins, Abbey Bull, and Taylor Sargent. The competition will take place at Lonnie Poole Golf Course, a par-72 course measuring 6,181 yards.
Tournament play begins on Friday at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Saturday’s rounds will start from Hole No. 10 at 8 a.m. and Hole No. 1 at 8:30 a.m.
In addition to Marshall, other Sun Belt Conference teams competing include James Madison, Old Dominion, App State, and Coastal Carolina.
