Man wanted in Pennsylvania, West Virginia arrested during drug bust in Greensburg

Drug Bust and Arrest Details

A fugitive was apprehended at a motel in Westmoreland County during a coordinated drug bust involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

According to Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli, agents from her office, the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Red Roof Inn on Sheraton Drive in Greensburg.

Drugs and Cash Seized

Inside the motel room, authorities discovered approximately $13,200 worth of illegal drugs, including 36 grams of fentanyl and 27 grams of cocaine. A backpack containing $3,300 in cash was also recovered.

Suspect’s Background and Warrants

Brandon Lewis was arrested without incident when he returned to the motel. Police confirmed that he had active warrants in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia for parole violations.

During questioning, Lewis claimed he had been mistakenly released from the Mercer County Jail in February. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody and is now being held at the Westmoreland County Prison.
