A beloved Independence Day tradition returns in 2025 as Arts in the Park comes back to Bruce Park in New Martinsville on Friday, July 4, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The festival, hosted by the New Martinsville Parks & Recreation Commission and ArtsLink, invites local artists and crafters from across Wetzel and Tyler counties in West Virginia and Monroe County, Ohio, to demonstrate and sell their work. Best of all—there’s no fee to participate.

If you’re an artist or craftsperson and want to join, call ArtsLink at 304-455-2278 for more details or to register.

A Creative Community Celebration

Once again, Carman Harman will serve as Master of Ceremonies, guiding attendees through an afternoon filled with art, music, and community. Visitors can enjoy live music, browse art and craft exhibits, and watch creative demonstrations throughout the park.

The New Martinsville Parks & Recreation Commission will provide free frozen treats and cold drinks, making it the perfect summer outing for families. Children’s activities will also be available, along with food for purchase from local vendors.

Everyone’s Welcome

All events during the day are free and open to the public, and ArtsLink is dedicated to making the event accessible for all. If you or a loved one has special needs, reach out to ArtsLink at 304-455-2278 for assistance.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the Fourth of July surrounded by art, music, and local talent at Bruce Park—a perfect blend of creativity and community spirit.
