Marshall baseball signs 12 to 2024 signing class
Marshall University Baseball head coach Greg Beals announced his first signing class as skipper of the Herd on Tuesday.
“This is a group of high character young men that will be great additions to the ‘Brotherhood’ of Marshall Baseball,” Beals said. “On the field this group will bring balance, athleticism, competitive experience and academic excellence to our program. There is a clear focus on the strength and depth of our pitching staff.
Beals signed 12 new student-athletes for his inaugural class after his first season in Huntington.
“Putting a group of prospects like this together requires the tireless work of our entire staff and department,” Beals added “I greatly appreciate the support and contributions made by Jake Aganus our Academic Coach, Chris Hightower our Strength Coach, and Bryan Booth our Athletic Trainer. It has been fun watching our baseball staff, Tim Donnelly our Associate Head Coach and recruiting coordinator, Pitching Coach Taylor Sandefur, Assistant Coach Blair Everhart and Director of Operations Brian Karlet come together. Today is an indication of all their work.”
