With heavy hearts, we share that Cynthia “Cindy” Wallbrown Becker passed away on May 25, 2025, after a brave and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 67 years old.
Born on November 30, 1957, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Cindy was a proud graduate of Parkersburg High School (Class of 1975) and earned her degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton in 1979. She built a successful and fulfilling career in Cincinnati, Ohio, working at Procter & Gamble.
Cindy was a woman of many passions. She was an avid tennis player, dedicated swim official, and a lifelong lover of the water, especially when boating with her family. She also found joy in reading and had a special affection for her Corvette.
Cindy leaves behind a loving legacy and will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Mark Becker; her daughters, Carey (Clayton) Steinriede of Cincinnati and Casey (Eric) Fiacable of Noblesville, Indiana; her mother, Janis Wallbrown of Bonita Springs, Florida; her brothers, Tim Wallbrown of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Steve (Gena) Wallbrown of Denton, Texas; her sisters, Nancy (Daniel) Ruble of Vienna, West Virginia, and Karen (Dave) Schramm of Lowell, Ohio; and her sister-in-law, Kim (Mark) Pomeroy of Cincinnati. She also leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her devoted father, Bob Wallbrown, her maternal and paternal grandparents, her mother-in-law, Catherine Becker, and her brother-in-law, Jerry Becker.
A memorial gathering to honor Cindy’s life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Spring Grove Tri-County Funeral Home, 11285 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Cindy’s memory to the Christ Hospital Cancer Center, supporting the care and research that meant so much to her.
Cindy’s kindness, strength, and warmth touched everyone she met. Her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
