The 19th Annual West Virginia Hot Dog Festival returns to Huntington, WV on Saturday, July 29. There will be a variety of activities including festival favorites like wiener dog races, hot dog eating and root-beer chugging contests, inflatables, vendors and lots of live music entertainment. This annual event at Pullman Square was launched by John Mandt Jr., owner of Stewart’s Original Hotdogs, in partnership with iHeart Radio as a way to bring the community together but also “All proceeds [raised] from the festival’s contests, rides, run and activities each year goes to Hoops Family Children’s Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital, helping the region’s children who are in treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.” More information about this event can be found on https://wvhotdogfestival.com .
