Experience the meditative yet thrilling sounds of classical music with upcoming recitals and concerts at Marshall University’s School of Music. Events are free and open to the public. Smith Recital Hall is located inside the School of Music building that sits on the corner of 3rd Ave and Hal Greer Blvd.
Thursday, January 19 at 7:30pm – Three Trios will include works by Mozart, Bernard H. Crussell, and Carl Reinecke. Musicians performing will include Dr. Lori Baruth (Clarinet), Dr. Stephen Lawson (French Horn), Dr. Henning Vauth (Piano), and Dr. Kay Lawson (Bassoon).
Thursday, February 9 at 4pm – Wind Symphony Concert, program TBA
